Our Refund Policy
Macro Friendly Food does not offer refunds on subscriptions, meal plans, or products unless there are extenuating circumstances. This policy helps us maintain the quality and sustainability of our services while ensuring fairness for all users. Examples of extenuating circumstances might include significant technical issues that prevent access to your subscription or an error on our part (e.g., duplicate charges). However, we do not provide refunds for automatic renewal payments or if you simply change your mind after signing up.
Step 1: Review Your Situation
Before requesting a refund, consider the following:
Automatic Renewals: If your subscription auto-renewed and you were charged, this does not qualify for a refund. To avoid future charges, you must cancel your subscription before the renewal date (see Step 2).
Access Issues: If you’re unable to access the web app (macrofriendlyfood.app) or your meal plan downloads, try troubleshooting first (e.g., check your login email, clear your browser cache, or contact support for help).
Product Issues: For physical products like Dreami Protein Ice Cream Mix or Whey Protein Isolate Powder, inspect the item for damage or defects upon delivery.
Step 2: Cancel Your Subscription (If Needed)
If you no longer wish to continue your subscription, you can cancel it to prevent future charges:
Log in to your account at macrofriendlyfood.com/my-account/.
Click “Subscriptions,” then “View” next to your subscription.
Click the “Cancel” link. This will stop automatic billing, and your subscription will move to “Pending Cancellation” status until the end of your current billing cycle (monthly or quarterly).
During this period, you’ll still have access to the web app and meal plan printouts. After the billing cycle ends, your subscription will be “Cancelled,” and access will end.
Note: Cancelling your subscription does not automatically qualify you for a refund. You’ll need to request one separately if you believe you have an extenuating circumstance.
Step 3: Request a Refund
If you believe your situation qualifies as an extenuating circumstance, follow these steps to request a prorated refund:

Your account email (the one tied to your subscription or purchase).
Your order number (found in your confirmation email or at macrofriendlyfood.com/my-account/orders).
A detailed explanation of your situation and why you believe it qualifies as an extenuating circumstance (e.g., “I was charged twice for the same subscription,” or “I’ve been unable to access the web app for two weeks despite troubleshooting”).
Any supporting evidence, such as screenshots of error messages or duplicate charges.
Wait for Review: Our team will review your request and determine if a refund is warranted. We reserve the right to decide whether a refund will be granted, and if approved, it will be prorated based on the remaining time in your billing cycle.
Processing: If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method. This may take 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Step 4: Understand What Doesn’t Qualify
To set clear expectations, here are some scenarios that typically do not qualify for a refund:
Change of Mind: If you decide you no longer want the subscription or product after signing up.
Automatic Renewal: If you forgot to cancel before your subscription renewed.
Dietary Needs: If a recipe or product doesn’t meet your dietary preferences or restrictions (it’s your responsibility to verify ingredients meet your needs before purchasing).
Results Not Achieved: We do not guarantee specific fitness or health outcomes (e.g., weight loss, muscle gain), as results vary by individual.
Tips to Avoid Refund Issues
Cancel Before Renewal: If you don’t want to continue, cancel your subscription before the next billing date to avoid automatic charges.
Check Your Email: Use the same email for your account and web app to ensure seamless access.
